This web site is the routes and hills for the NEKF Club.
If you want to walk or cycle in the North east of Scotland then you have come to the right place.
Most of our hill walking routes and mountain biking trails are around Deeside and Donside in Aberdeenshire with
a few routes in the Angus and Strathdon areas.
They range from very easy to difficult. If you are unsure about a particular route then please be careful and have the proper equipment for
travelling in the hills. Always carry waterproof clothing and wear proper walking boots. Don't go into the hills with shorts and sandals - that's just asking for trouble.
We grade the routes based on our opinion and you could find a route to be easier or harder than we think.
Our routes can be downloaded in pdf format and we have most of them documented in
Anquet map format for downloading if you require.
Most of our walking and cycling is around Deeside and Donside with a few trips out of our area.
